InKy Clowns' Members
We have a few members and they are great ones.  Here they are listed in
alphabetical order.

Frank Bunton, aka Buff Phoon, is the member with the most years clowning. He is an
Auguste clown. He has been clowning since 1980 and became a member of Clowns Of
America, International (COAI) in 1991. He has competed in Makeup, Skits, Paradeability and
Balloons and has placed in Makeup, Skits and Balloons. He is our current alley President
and is a past Vice-President.

Janet Clute, aka MimC, graduated InKy Clowns’ clown school in December of 2007. She
became a member of InKy Clowns, Incorporated and COAI at that time.
MimC is an auguste
clown.

P. Jason Clopton, aka Bonkers, graduated InKy Clowns’ clown school in December of 2007
and became a member of both InKy Clowns, Incorporated and COAI.
Bonkers is a tramp
clown. Jason is our current newsletter editor.

Ruth Fitzwater, aka Pockets, has been a clown since 1997, training under "Jelly Bean"
Tucker in NW Indiana.  She has been a member of COAI since 1999 and originally began as
a whiteface but recently has let her true clown character out as an Auguste/light Auguste.  
She enjoys balloons, face painting and especially walk around entertainment.  Ruth is our
Dean of U of L (University of Laughter), our clown school.  She has been involved with caring
clowning at both hospitals and nursing homes, done family entertainment, birthday parties for
all ages, parades, skits, corporate and charity events.  
Pockets is also a member of Calumet
Clowns (a past president) and Midwest Clown Association.  She was secretary for InKy
Clowns for four years and is a charter member.  She is currently the club's Vice President (or
President of Vice as we say).

Bobbye Grey, aka *Sparkle*, has been clowning since graduation from Clowns Galore Clown
School in Florida in 1995. She began as a Comedy Whiteface and has added an
Auguste/Lite Auguste
*Sparkle*. She likes to do balloons, clown magic and face-painting.
*Sparkle* enjoys all aspects of clowning and has experience in caring and Christian clowning,
family and corporate events, walk-arounds, parades and skits. Bobbye became a member of
COAI and WCA in 1995. She has served as President, Secretary and Newsletter Editor for
previous alleys in Florida.

Tina Livingston, aka Flowers, graduated clown school in December of 2007 and became a
member of InKy Clowns, Incorporated and COAI at that time. Tina is a comedy whiteface
clown.

Neal Oplinger, aka Blue, is a Comedy White-face clown and began clowning in 1990. He
became a member of COAI in 1991. He has competed in Makeup, Skits and Paradeability.  
Blue is a magical clown but is well versed in balloons, face-painting and puppets. He is our
current Treasurer and has held the President position in the past.

Nikki Potter, aka Sugar Pie, is a December 2007 graduate of InKy Clowns’ clown school. She
joined InKy Clowns, Incorporated and COAI at that time. Nikki is a comedy whiteface clown.

Patti Shull, aka Sweet Petunia, is a very busy clown despite of the number of years she has
been clowning. She started clowning in 2004 and became a COAI member in 2006. Patti
spends most of her time entertaining children with comedy magic show in day care centers or

Harold Williams, aka Happy Harold, is our Hobo clown. Harold started clowning in 1990 and
became a COAI member in 1991. Even with Harold’s handicap he likes doing parades, walk-
arounds and balloons. Harold has held the position of alley Vice-President and is our current
Secretary.
It is with deep regret that we must announce the passing of Harold on
June 11th of 2008.
