NEW STUFF!
Our 2008 September meeting has been moved to MONDAY. It will be on the 15th
and will start at 6:30 PM. Same location. All the future meetings will be on the third
Monday of the month. We are trying out the new time and day so more alley
members can attend. The education meeting that night will be "Applying for
Educational Grants" by Neal Oplinger.
We are also starting up our University of Laughter (U of L?) also known as Clown
Classes. They will start on September 22rd. Click on the "School" button for more
information.
OLDER INFORMATION!
InKy Clowns, Incorporated has a short history as we have only been meeting since about
2000. The author of this page wasn’t a member at the very start.
In 2003 when our little alley reached 5 members and we were in agreement, we became
affiliated with Clowns Of America International and became known as InKy Clowns - Alley
#361.
We meet at Parkway Rehab and Nursing Center (located at 1155 Eastern Parkway,
Louisville, KY) on the second Sunday of the month (this changed in the June 2008 meeting
to the third Monday) and we start (or try to start) at 7 (changed to 6:30 in the same meeting)
PM. Everyone and anyone is invited to visit.

In 2007 InKy Clowns became incorporated. Also in late 2007 we held our first clown school
and graduated 5 new clowns who also became members. InKy Clowns, Incorporated now
boasted a membership of 12.
Six of our members are planning to attend the 2008 COAI International convention in
Richmond, VA and hope to bring back some awards from competing. We had 5 members
actually go to the (2008) convention and some of our members came back with awards.
Kathy "Pinkeee" Oros won a first place in Full-face Face-Painting. Neal "Blue" Oplinger
placed in the Top Ten in Multiple Balloons and the Alley received a Ninth place in Group Skit.
Harold "Happy Harold" Williams passed away on June 11th, 2008.
